Phorm is the creation of ceramic designer-maker Sam Dickenson.
Sam specialises in designing and producing unique interior
accessories.
Sam
has developed a range of ceramics that is both sculptural
and functional.
The range of decorative tableware includes a range of asymmetric
bowls, vases and most recently an innovative food presentation
platter ‘flower platter’.
Strongly
inspired by design from the 1950’s her work is reminiscent
of this era in the use of colour and form but with a very
modern touch. All the pieces are hand finished in Sam’s
studio in Hackney to ensure a high quality finish.
Sam’s
work has appeared in a number of publications including Elle
Decoration, Marie Clare and The Telegraph Magazine. She has
also recently been featured in the highly acclaimed design
directory, Design UK produced by Conran-Octopus.
You
can see her most recent designs and colour ways by visiting
the studio. Please email Sam to make an appointment to visit
the studio. During your visit you will be able to see how
the designs are produced and buy or commission something special.
